Brian McNamara - Founder/Realtor®
Before Brian founded Gearhead Homes, he forged his career in the Aftermarket Automotive Industry. Not only did he gain experience in everything from real estate sales and investments, interior design, and sales management, but he also acquired a psychology degree from Wayne State University. His vision for creating the Gearhead Homes niche and devotion to his clients developed a successful and fast growing business. In his spare time he enjoys wrenching on his truck and race car, and attending numerous track days throughout the year.

Sean Grogan - Agent
With over a decade of sales experience and a business background from Walsh College, Sean joined the Gearhead Homes Team in 2018. Sean has been involved in motorsports from a very young age, and is very active in road racing, and rallycross. Sean and Brian met through the Sports Car Club of America in 2007, and have been racing together in various forms ever since. When not showing homes, or racing at Waterford Hills Sean can be found playing hockey or in the stands at a Red Wings game.

Theresa Lafever - Agent
Theresa is a former teacher, who became interested in real estate as an investor She came to work for the Gearhead Homes team in 2019. Theresa has worked as an agent, sales director and team administrator during that time. As a former teacher, she loves working with clients to help them understand the buying and selling process. Theresa comes from a family that has a long history of mechanics and mechanically inclined members, who value their garage space.

Jan Byar - Admin/Closing Coordinator
Jan has been working in real estate since 2003 and her expertise is assisting our clients and agents with the closing process from the time the contract is fully accepted up to the closing table. Prior to entering real estate Jan sold manufactured homes for 7 years, so she has been helping home buyer and sellers for over 20 years. One of the many hobbies she enjoys is refinishing furniture, and a big garage is a great space for that.
